Loice Erambo is a practicing Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. Her main focus is corporate law which encompasses commercial business set up, deal-making processes e.g. mergers, banking and loan securitization, real estate and conveyancing law. She has gained a lot of insight into the legal and regulatory aspects of setting up, financing and sustaining business operations. Loice is a member of the World Economic Forum Global Shapers Community, Nairobi Hub. The Shaper Community is a network of regional hubs led by young people inspired to drive change in their communities.
She is also a member of the British Council Next Generation Youth Task Force-Kenya. The Task Force comprises of a team of individuals shaping policies impacting the youth in Kenya. The members of this taskforce have undertaken extensive qualitative research into the aspirations and opinions of young Kenyans and have recently published our policy recommendations.
Loice is also a member of the Alumni network of Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI) Regional Leadership Center, East Africa. YALI is a leadership program launched by former President of the United States Barack Obama when he visited Kenya as a signature effort to invest in the next generation of African leaders. She believes that Africans have the solution to Africa’s challenges and nurturing leadership is very critical to harnessing local talent towards the transforming Africa.
