Simon Ndirangu is a crusader and policy entrepreneur focusing on workforce development. He is a British Council Future Leaders Connect Member and Mandela Washington Fellow. Also a consulting strategist and certified trainer by National Industrial Training Authority with over 5 years consulting experience across government, the private sector, and NGOs in Kenya and Uganda.
Simon got his training in economics from Kenyatta University and also a proud holder of advanced public policy and leadership training from the University of Cambridge and Georgia State University. These experiences have assisted him in shaping his grasp of youth skills development and his focus on employability and future of work. He currently runs a transition from education to employment social venture- The Bridge Africa that equips young people with employability skills. He sits on the British Council Next Generation Youth Taskforce where he sense check research focusing on youth aspirations and also shape the policy recommendations emanating from it.
